Forged in the heart of Lithuania, Euften is a theatrical Metal Opera project seamlessly blending the raw nostalgic thunder of 80s Hard Rock with the majestic, soaring grandeur of modern Power Metal.
The Saga & Origin
The concept of Euften originated in 2012, when founder Elvinas Skliutas began writing a fantasy novel about a young warrior named Euften, traversing a parallel realm. Every mythical event within this fantasy world acted as a heavily stylized, symbolic mirror to real-life experiences.
In 2017, this universe found its musical voice. Driven by a vision of a grand Metal Opera, Elvinas spent years mastering audio engineering and production to fuse 80s Hard Rock energy with soaring Power Metal majesty. Early singles like "Moonlight Wings" and "Star Kingdom" laid the groundwork for what was to come.
The project evolved from a solo venture in 2023 when long-time companion Darius Matulaitis joined on guitars and backing vocals. By 2026, Euften forged its complete live powerhouse lineup with Yauhen Nikifarau (bass) and Matas Maselis (drums).
Today, operating as a full four-piece ensemble, Euften delivers a thunderous live program across Lithuania while actively preparing new singles and their upcoming full-length Metal Opera album.
